Personal Game Project
Pet Land is a game that lets players build their world one block at a time and collect hundreds of pets. The number of pets roaming around in your world depends on the number of blocks you have placed. Random building blocks on your game board will glow and show a question mark to indicate that you can collect a gift. Uncover new pets by hatching colored eggs and complete specific tasks to hatch the eggs.
Role and Responsibilities: I developed the concept of Pet Land as a game proposal for DNA Games. Pet Land is my take on combining elements of Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and social gaming mechanics into a fun and simple game. "Build, collect, and trade" are the 3 main gameplay elements to Pet Land that's easy to play, addictive and social.

Welcome popup that tells you how to play Pet Land. Daily bonus popup lets users know that they can earn rewards for playing the game everyday.
Game concept without UI on the left and with the UI on the right. The UI includes a tasks meter on the top left, level and currencies on the top right, and a bottom HUD. In this tab, you can see how many pets you own and the max amount that you can get.
The building tab shows you all the different types of blocks that you can use to build your world. The image on the right is on the “Add Friends” tab.
In this tab, you can rescue the pets by working with your friends to save them. After adding the required amount of friends, the pet will be rescued and is added to your collection.
This is a collection screen that shows the pets you have in your collection and also the ones you’re missing. The popup on the right shows a list of goals you can achieve to win new pets.
